The Capital Area United Way will grant $171,000 to support the YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing. This is an increase of almost 10% from last year’s allocation. Together the Westside Community, Oak Park and Parkwood YMCA branches, in addition to Mystic Lake Camp, through an integrated system of 18 youth development programs for preschool through high school will serve 2,910.
